Training & Test Vehicles

The Training/Test Vehicles 

The vehicles that the Company uses for training are up to date modern vehicles supplied by Main Dealers. This means that the Company is backed by main dealer Equipment Support Services. All vehicles being used are comparable with the vehicles currently found within the industry

All the vehicles are fitted with manual gearboxes in order that having passed the test the newly qualified driver can drive all variants of vehicles in that Licence category.

If the trainee passed his test in an automatic gearbox this would restrict his Licence entitlement to automatic gearboxes only, so greatly restricting his employment opportunities.

Having passed in a manual gearbox the driver requires only a short lesson to enable him to drive an automatic gearbox vehicle in that Licence category; there is no requirement for another test.
