Courses Structure
We offer various courses including LGV, HGV and PCV training and courses.
Course duration normally five day's with test on fifth day.
Typical Military course structure. Week 1 Cat C, Week 2 Cat D, Week 3 Cat C + E , Week 4 Industry

Category C (Rigid)
- Introduction/Familiarisation with the vehicle including driver's checks
- Demonstration Drive.
- Basic driving techniques
- Road craft
- Train to standard required to pass test.
- Undertake driving test.
Category D. PCV (Bus)
- Introduction/Familiarisation with the vehicle including driver's checks
- Demonstration drive.
- Basic driving techniques including passenger comfort and safety
- Road craft.
- Train to standard required to pass test.
- Undertake driving test
Refresher Training
- Duration as selected by customer
- Elements as per training for industry ( as selected by customer)
- Update / Practice skills

Category C + E (Class 1)
- Introduction/Familiarisation with the vehicle including driver's checks
- Demonstration drive
- Basic driving techniques, this will include reversing training as required
- Safe coupling/uncoupling technique using air suspension and lift axles
- Road craft
- Train to standard required to pass test
- Undertake driving test
Development/Training for Industry
- Development training, driving a fully laden vehicle. Gain experience of different driving techniques. Changes to thehandling/performance characteristics of the vehicle.
- Fuel training, including block changing, matching speed, gear, revs, the use of cruise control and retarder/exhaust brakes to maximise fuel efficiency
- Different loads, their characteristics, techniques for loading and securing. This will include roping and sheeting, chains, straps chocks and bars
- Tail lift training and multi drop load handling. Cages, pallet trucks etc.
- Tachograph training and legislation associated with Tachographs.
- Driver's hours and legal requirements, emergency procedures

Instructor Training
- Train to qualify for the DSA Instructor Certification (Phone to check eligibility/requirements)
- SAFED - Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving. SAFED Fleet instructor training. Individual and Fleet training. Call for details

Forklift Training on Counterbalance & Reach
- RTITB certified training
- Carried out in a working warehouse environment
- Courses tailored to the requirements of students including recertification
- Forklifts maintained by main dealers
- Onsite training at customers premises
